"Roger, I watched the Level 2 short game DVD earlier this evening and was blown-away by it. As a 4 (even a lefty) I didn't think there would be much pertaining to my game but I figured I would watch just to see what was in it.

Boy was I wrong. Just the review of technique and the alterations based on different grass lengths was great.

There is probably information in the Levels 1, 2 and 3 long game that are just as useful to me (I just have to ignore the handicap number on the box) despite the fact I supposedly mastered those fundamentals long ago. (and I know how untrue that is).

Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it."

"Roger has helped me become one of the longest women drivers in the world.  I could not have competed in all my long drive events if it wasn't for Roger's excellent tutelage."

"I have been studying Roger Gunn's "Level 3" instructional DVD for the past month and am extremely impressed.  For only $29.95 this program clearly explains handicap specific techniques that would normally take months to learn through private lessons.

Even more important, Roger has a unique method for explaining the golf swing.  He doesn't just explain swing positions; Roger demonstrates the motion and feeling of powerful impact.  This isn't just visual, it's a truly kinesthetic experience.  There is a trick to hitting it long and straight and it's explained in "Level 3."

"Roger said he would, and he did, send his DVD to me (and a lot of other folks). No matter what your swing concept(s) is (are) Roger's DVD makes for an entertaining mini-lesson.

The scenery is beautiful, the camera shots and editing are simple and well done. Roger speaks plainly and clearly, and is easily understood. He has a nice product."

"Hey Roger;

I got the DVD's today.. in a Word Awesome! I have been thru level 2 long and short DVD's Thank you so very much.. I will be going through Level 1 as well. There is a lot of information but it all makes sense, so I'm not very overwhlemed. I will be focusing on my problem areas, Sand Play and Uneven Lies.

With regard to Aiming, well "Duh" I got it, man that was So Aweosme, I have been told to pick out a closer aim point. But you made so easy that the light turned on Immedaitily.. Awesome.

"Roger,
All I can say is thank you. We received the Level one DVD's early last week. I gave them to my son, he watched them three times in two days, and was in the back yard practicing. I took him out for a round this afternoon. He has been shooting in the 110-120 range, he shot a 91 today the boy is excited so is the (old man) for that matter. I asked him what he felt the difference was. He stated that you were the first coach he could understand what you wanted him to do. He is new to the game and has attended a golf camp for 13-15 year olds, and came away with very little information. The short game improvement was nothing short of a miracle. He chipped in from the rough twice and left two bunker shots within 2' of the hole."

"Roger,
As a person who has been fascinated with the swing and has had direct lessons with many 'big name teachers' I could not wait to see Rogers DVD.

I've only seen Level 3 long game and short game but after viewing just the long game I ordered his full set.  So this will be about Level 3.

Best way to describe the feel of the DVD is it felt like I was out with a really good golfer on the course and he was teaching me different shots and the way to think. Obviously in person would be better but the feel carried over.  Some of it is up on the lesson tee and some is out on the course in real situations, it's got a nice balance. The instruction side on level 3 is very solid and as a bonus he includes pieces from previous levels as a review of basics before he shows you the specialty shot. Obviously u need the full Level DVD to get the complete lessons but the review was more than adequate. I would guess the lower the level the more fundamentals you will find.  Level 3 focused on making different shots in different situations

What I liked about it is that Roger had no problem varying from his basic thought about the swing. Obviously in his view the body leads the club but for this particular shot you also must feel the lag of the clubhead even more than normally, sometimes even through your hand...OMG!!!.  Some instructors have their heads down and say given Situation X and Situation Y you swing exactly the same and let the swing take care of the situation itself...this does not work IMO when it comes to playing.  There are adjustments to be made in your normal fundamentals to pull off these shots and Roger is very insightful in his instruction on playing these shots.  I've never been too good at punching it through the wind because I hit the ball HIGH(which is a nice ability to have according to Nicklaus) but I tend to create too much spin when I try to keep it low...why? Wrong technique, but what is scary is 75% of the golfers out there probably do what I have been doing. Also what was the last instruction video where the teacher went over the importance of clubfitting even in a Driver and shaft as part of your solution to play better? I must own 50 tapes/DVDs, some which were viewed only once, and I don't recall any and definitely not into the detail he does. Roger is a true GEA Nutz.

The video is well paced and I never felt like he gave to little instruction or too much on one particular subject.  Overall I would say it was a great purchase and would be even better if you were able to take a lesson from him personally if he had free time and you were in Cally.

I didn't even get to go into a review of the short game video which may be even better than the long game."

"Roger,
I purchased your complete set of DVDs. They are the best instructional set I have seen, and I have seen most of what is available today. The informational contact, manner of presentation, and production quality are outstanding. The progression of learning material through the set is absolutely great, and it is easy to review key information at any time.

Thanks for making these videos available."
